An estimated itinerary for a course running on the Findhorn. We are not limited to the Findhorn and can go to any river you wish in Scotland so long as the river levels allow.
Here is a sample itinerary for a private white water sup development course on the River Findhorn in Scotland:
10:00am – Meet and Greet: Participants will meet their instructors at the designated location on the River Findhorn. The instructors will introduce themselves and discuss with you your aims so we can agree on the overview of the course (this will be done in advance via email as well and confirmed on the day). We will then need to sort a shuttle between us so at least one vehicle is at the bottom allowing any kit to be at the end we wish i.e. change of clothes etc. We will drop people back at the top for their vehicles at the end of the day.
Safety Briefing and Equipment Check: Before getting on the water, the instructors will provide a safety briefing and make sure that all participants have the appropriate equipment, including boards, paddles, and safety gear.
We will get on the water and begin to break down your paddling skills so that we can provide developmental advice and challenges to improve your skills based around what you wish to get better at as well as what your instructors feel is appropriate.
Lunch Break: Participants will take a break for lunch and have the opportunity to rest and refuel for the afternoon session. During this time you can reflect on the skills covered so far and ask any questions as well as consider where you would like to focus your development during the rest of the day.
Advanced Techniques: In the afternoon session, the instructors will focus on more advanced techniques based around your aims, such as how to surf waves and carving the board.
3:00pm – Course End: The course will conclude at 3:00pm. Participants will have the opportunity to ask any remaining questions and receive feedback from the instructors before departing.
Overall, the private white water SUP development course on the River Findhorn provides a full day of fun and challenging activities, tailored to the individual needs and goals of each participant. Participants will leave with improved skills and confidence on the water, as well as a deeper appreciation for the sport of white water stand up paddleboarding (SUP).

Booking a private white water SUP development course can be an excellent choice for individuals who want to take their paddleboarding skills to the next level. Regardless of whether you are looking at grade 2 or grade 3 we can help take your skills to the next level! Here are some reasons why this course might be right for you:
With a private course, you’ll receive personalised instruction that’s tailored to your specific needs and skill level. This means that your instructor will be able to identify your strengths and weaknesses and provide feedback on how to improve your technique. We will contact you in advance to discuss your specific aims and aspirations from the course.
Private courses are typically more intensive than group courses, allowing you to progress at a faster pace. With one-on-one attention from your instructor to your group, you’ll be able to focus on the skills you need to improve the most, rather than following a generic course curriculum.
Private courses offer greater flexibility when it comes to scheduling. You can work with your instructor to create a schedule that works for you, rather than being restricted to set course dates.
With a private course, you’ll have the undivided attention of your instructor. You’ll be able to ask questions and receive feedback without feeling rushed or self-conscious.
If you’re an experienced paddler looking to challenge yourself, a private white water SUP Course might be exactly what you are looking for to take your skills to that next level!

The easiest way to get here to to drive through either Grantown or Cartridge towards Ferness, head downhill and across the river taking the first left towards the Ardclach Bell Tower and continue on down the narrow road to the car park at the bottom. Please look out for the van branded with our logo’s on all sides. We will always get there early and try to park up prominently for you to see us. This course does not have to run at the Findhorn and can be tailored to any appropriate river of the grade. The Findhorn is a river we often like to use as it has rapids from grade 2-5 meaning lots of variety with the majority of the river being grade 3/3+ and this is where we will base our course.
