Stand up paddleboarding (SUP) is a popular water sport that has gained immense popularity in recent years. The Moray coast in Scotland offers an excellent location for paddleboarding enthusiasts, with its calm waters and stunning views.
One of the main reasons why you should SUP on the Moray coast is the amazing and diverse range of landscapes and seascapes that can be explored. The coastline is home to many hidden coves, rocky cliffs, and quiet bays that can only be accessed from the water. Paddleboarding allows you to explore these secluded spots and get up close to the marine life that inhabits the waters, such as seals and dolphins (no guarantees you will see them but we do on many trips).
The Moray coast also boasts some of the cleanest and clearest waters in the UK, making it an ideal location for paddleboarding. The water is crystal clear, allowing you to see the seabed and the marine life that lives below the surface. Paddleboarding allows you to get a unique perspective on the coastline, allowing you to appreciate the beauty of the Moray Firth and the surrounding cliffs.
Furthermore, the Moray coast offers a range of paddleboarding experiences for all levels of ability, from calm and tranquil lagoons to more challenging open water conditions. This is suitable for all levels of experience, & you will get lessons from our experienced instructors during the day; more experienced paddlers can explore the more challenging conditions that the coastline has to offer.
We pride ourselves on providing as much kit as possible for you. However, the list below is what we recommend you should bring to your Moray Coast SUP Adventure Day:
