Arisaig SUP Expedition Adventure Journey Course Information
Experience the stunning beauty of Scotland’s west coast on a two-day Arisaig SUP expedition. Paddle along crystal-clear waters and sandy beaches.
A two-day SUP expedition in Arisaig promises an unforgettable adventure in one of Scotland’s most scenic coastal areas. Arisaig is a village located on the west coast of Scotland, offering fantastic paddling opportunities with stunning views of the coastline, Skye and the Inner Hebridean islands.
On the first day of the expedition, participants will meet their guide and receive a safety briefing and introduction to stand-up paddleboarding. You will then embark on a scenic paddle along the coastline, taking in the breathtaking views of the amazing coastline and crystal-clear waters. The paddling will be moderately challenging, but suitable for paddlers of all levels.
After a day of paddling, participants will camp overnight on the beach and enjoy a sunset over the sea looking out to the Islands off the West Coast. The evening will be spent relaxing and socializing, while taking in the peace and tranquility of the natural surroundings.
The second day of the expedition will involve some island hopping and rock hopping if your skills are there, with the possibility of encountering some wildlife along the way – you may see seals, otters, dolphins and more. Participants will paddle to a remote island, where they can take a break and enjoy lunch before paddling back to the starting point.
Our two-day SUP expedition in Arisaig offers a unique and exhilarating adventure, combining stunning scenery, and the opportunity to connect with nature while on a SUP.
You will meet your instructor at Arisaig on the first day in the morning at 10:00 where you will sort through all the kit required and embark out onto the sea on your paddleboards! Food is not provided so please ensure to bring enough with you for the two days!
Heading out from the village you will quickly come upon the glorious skerries where we will navigate our way amongst, around and in between them heading either North or South depending on tides and wind determining what will be easiest for our return journey the next day.
We will spend the evening under the stars camping in tents and socialising on the beaches while watching the glorious sunsets across the Inner Hebrides.
Day two sees us making our way back to Arisaig along the coastline possibly with some rock and island hopping and maybe even catching the odd surf on a wave if the waves are big enough for a bit of fun. We will aim to be back at the vehicles for around 15:00 on the second day where we will part ways and wish you the very best of the rest of your time in Scotland.
